Vertical-tuned for preschools and early childhood programs

The director is reading to a circle of twelve three-year-olds. The enrollment line keeps ringing.

Preschool phones are a constant interrupt: a parent asking about openings, a tour request, a sick-day call, a vendor pitch. Every voicemail is a family who calls the next program on their list. Your AI receptionist answers every call, captures the family's intake, books the tour, and lets your teachers stay with the kids.

Built to know how a preschool runs

It knows the difference between an enrollment-inquiry call (capture child age, target start date, full-time vs part-time, tour the family), a current-family call (route to a teacher or the director), and a vendor pitch (capture and dismiss). It knows that “do you have any openings” needs the child's birthdate captured before you can answer.

It captures the waitlist details that matter — child name, birthdate, family contact, target start date, days needed — so when a spot opens you call the next family on the list with real information, not a half-message scribbled on a Post-it.

You control your portal: your program ages and ratios, your hours and days, your tuition tiers, your tour schedule, your waitlist policy. The AI fills in the defaults a typical preschool runs, you adjust, and it goes live.

What it handles on every call

What you hear back

Your business number stays the same

You don't change phone numbers or update the line on your state-licensing record, your insurance forms, your sign out front, or every parent's contact card. Your existing line forwards to the AI when the front office is in a classroom or after hours — current families dial the same number they always have.

FAQ

1. Will it interrupt a teacher in the classroom?

No. The whole point is the opposite — the AI handles enrollment inquiries, vendor calls, and routine sick-day calls so teachers stay with the children. Only true emergencies (early pickup, allergic reaction, schedule emergency) route to the director's line based on rules you set.

2. Can it actually handle a parent calling about an opening?

Yes. It captures the child's birthdate, target start date, days and hours needed, and family contact, then either offers a tour from your real availability or adds them to the waitlist with a callback note for the director.

3. What about a sick-day call from a current family?

It captures child name, classroom, reason, and expected return, then routes the summary to the lead teacher's morning briefing so attendance is current before circle time.

4. Can it deal with summer camp inquiries separately?

Yes. Configure summer camp as a separate program in your portal — the AI captures the inquiry with target weeks, child age, and any extended-care needs, and routes to the camp registrar instead of the year-round waitlist.

5. Is this safe to use with parent data?

We are not a HIPAA Business Associate (preschools generally aren't covered) but we do follow standard security practices — calls are encrypted in transit, summaries live in your dedicated portal, and access is per-staff-member. Ask your licensor or attorney about any state-specific data rules before going live.

6. Can I change what it says or how it handles tours?

Yes. Your greeting, your program names and ages, your tour schedule, your tuition message, your waitlist policy — all edited from your portal. Changes go live without a rebuild.
